Invisalign vs Traditional Braces

Invisalign is the invisible way to create a beautiful, perfect smile. Many people would like to change their smile and Invisalign by Renton Dentist, Dr. Benca can help them to do this discreetly and comfortably. A beautiful, aligned smile not only gives you that added boost of self-confidence in social and business situations but creates a healthy dental environment.

Invisalign for Invisible Cosmetic Dentistry

The Invisalign treatment involves an expert cosmetic dentist using a series of clear, plastic aligning trays to gently and gradually move your teeth into their ideal position for a healthy and beautiful smile. Many of our adult patients use this treatment since it allows them to have a beautifully aligned smile without the visibility of metal braces.

To fabricate your custom aligners, skilled dentist Dr. Benca will take bite impressions of your teeth and use 3D computer imaging to create the progressive design for your series of invisible aligners. Each aligner tray is worn for about 2 weeks and then switched to the next in the series until your teeth have been moved, by gentle pressure, into their optimum position.

Having teeth that are properly aligned creates a healthy bite, many times relieving people of the pain and discomfort caused by TMJ and a malocclusion. Another important benefit is that the corrected bite protects teeth from wear and breakage.

The number of trays varies according to the seriousness of the misalignment or rotation of the teeth, but a dentist generally uses about 30 trays over a period of about a year. The aligner trays are very comfortable and convenient since they can be removed to eat and clean. But, for the best and quickest result the trays should be worn at all other times.

Invisalign is a wonderful new option for creating a perfect smile; quickly, painlessly and invisibly!
